Misty Fjords National Monument, AK

Misty Fjords National Monument is an area protected by the United States Forest Service in Alaska. It is characterized by its glacial valleys, and is sometimes referred to as the "Yosemite of the North." Scenery within the monument ranges from sky-blue lakes, waterfalls, and tidewater estuaries to mountains shrouded in mists and evergreen forests.
